Opportunities

Season 8 Malayalam Short Film Production Contest would have FIVE (5) WINNERS.
Budget Lab would produce Winner’s short film story/script within a budget of maximum up to Rs TWO (2) Lakhs.

Rules & Regulations

Each contestant can submit maximum up to FIVE (5) Short Film Stories/Full Script

- Contestant can send any genre short film story or script.
- Short Film Stories or Full Script can either be submitted as a PDF file or as a YouTube/Google Drive link.
  - If you are submitting your story in PDF format, it could be either handwritten or typed.
  - If you are submitting a video/audio narration file (YouTube/Google Drive link), please ensure we are given complete access to the file. YouTube video can be put as Unlisted before sending to us.
  - Each story (synopsis or full script) has to be submitted as a separate PDF/YouTube/GD link in the story submission form.
  - If you are submitting the story in video or audio narration format, please ensure the timeline does not exceed more than 30 mins.
- Contestants who has a story, but do not have a team to execute their story/short film, can also apply. If the Contestant wins, Budget Lab would help form a team.*
- Anyone can participate in the contest. If you are below 18 years, you should register your stories in your parents/guardian’s name.

Registration Fees & Process

Regisration fee
- For up to maximum ONE (1) Lakh budget short movie, registration fee is Rs 500 per story/script.
- For up to maximum TWO (2) Lakh budget short movie, registration fee is Rs 1000 per story/script.

Contestant can make the payment via Net/Mobile Banking, Google Pay, Phone Pe, PayTM or cash deposit Direct @ Bank to the below given bank account number/phone number.

Contestants has to upload the registration fee payment details screenshot/receipt along with story files.
Please Note: Stories submitted WITHOUT fee payment details would be rejected upfront.
Please ensure you read the Terms & Conditions and accept the same, before submitting your story.
